David Cook (BChD) is a partner dentist at London Holistic Dental Centre. He has spent many years in general practice, developing and refining his interests in aesthetic dentistry, smile enhancement, minimally invasive care, bite-related problems, headaches, and complex dental rehabilitation.
David places strong emphasis on careful diagnosis, conservative planning, and long-term stability. His approach focuses on understanding how the teeth, bite, and supporting structures work together, allowing treatment to be delivered predictably and with minimal unnecessary intervention.
David has a particular interest in temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJD) and jaw-related problems, including facial pain, headaches, clenching, grinding, and bite-related discomfort. His approach focuses on careful assessment of how the teeth meet, how the jaw functions, and how muscular strain may contribute to symptoms. Where appropriate, he works within a multidisciplinary framework to support jaw comfort and long-term stability, recognising the close relationship between bite balance, muscle tension, and overall oral health.
He has undertaken extensive postgraduate education both in the UK and internationally and encourages the same commitment to learning across the team. David has completed advanced orthodontic training under Dr Derek Mahony, focusing on diagnosis and treatment aimed at facial balance, comfort, and long-term harmony.
David is also among a limited number of European dentists with advanced training from the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dentistry, where he gained significant experience in complex restorative and aesthetic cases.
Outside the practice, David enjoys travel, music, wine, and reading. He keeps active through badminton and cycling.
