As we are about to say goodbye to one year and welcome in another we thought we would take a look back at what the team has been doing over the last twelve months.
Whilst 2016 may have been a year of international political change, we’d like to think one of the constants in life is knowing you’ll always have a great experience and warm welcome at London Holistic Dental Centre.
In some ways it’s been a strange year and we could say, with tongue in cheek, that we’ll remember 2016 for the team being legless. Firstly David had his skiing accident at the beginning of the year, followed by Laune having knee surgery later in the year and also being off her feet for a period.
Although David is going skiing again in January we’ve been assured that there will be no repeat of last year. He has been training intensively and has undertaken a new gym regime every morning. Still, you may want to get your dental health check booked before he goes?
The last twelve months have also seen the continued renovation of the practice building and we thank you for your patience when, at times, there was scaffolding, obstructions and obvious work being completed. The entire building has had a new heating system installed as well as other structural and cosmetic changes carried out.
Whilst the entire team are continually updating their skills and knowledge, one of the treatments David felt was essential to study further was Invisalign, so he undertook a refresher course. This invisible brace system has evolved remarkably and we now have a steady stream of patients enquire about it. If you’ve always wanted straighter teeth but felt, as an adult, you didn’t want obvious braces then perhaps you should ask for more details next time you’re in the practice.
One of the treatments which grew significantly in popularity at the practice throughout the year was intra-oral massage offered by Lynn Rae. Her highly specialised form of facial therapy has helped numerous patients with Bruxism (clenching or grinding) and headache/migraine sufferers. We appreciate that the festive period can more stressful for some people and if you’ve been clenching or grinding please click here for more information about Lynn Rae.
Finally, we just wanted to make you aware that we will be carrying out our annual Patient Satisfaction Survey in January. The last time we mailed one we had some wonderful feedback which helped us make your experience at the practice even more enjoyable.
The entire team would like to wish you a peaceful and happy final week of 2016 and a prosperous and healthy 2017.
