What is a Dental Veneer?

A dental veneer is a thin layer of material placed over a tooth either to restore it cosmetically or to protect a damaged one. Veneers are made from either composite or porcelain.

Composite veneers are built up over the tooth surface using the same material I use to place white fillings. There is an art to carrying out these type of veneers and my time with Newton Fahl, widely regarded as the worlds leading composite artist, means I can deliver the result you deserve.

Porcelain veneers are made in the laboratory and bonded to the tooth in surgery. These are used when composite is not a suitable option, i.e. if the tooth needs reshaping or it’s appearance fundamentally changed.

Veneers can truly change a smile, and you will probably know of many celebrities who have dramatically enhanced their looks thanks to dental veneers.
